Johnson County, Kansas

Johnson County is located in east central Kansas. It is named for Thomas Johnson, a missionary in the state.
The seat is Olathe while the largest city is Overland Park. The county is largely suburban in nature.

The county borders Wyandotte, Miami, Franklin, Douglas and Leavenworth Counties in Kansas; as well as Jackson and Cass Counties in Missouri.
Main highways through the county include I-35, I-435, US-50, US-56, US-59, US-169, K-7 and K-10.
